I feel like it used to be easier a few years ago, when new art was the first thing you would see when visiting the site. There by giving creators a chance to get noticed. I see people with decent art skills that get two favorites at most and no comments or attention now. And a grand majority of new art does not get any attention at all. What? It seems like the newer art is hidden away so no one can find it as easily, and now you have to get into multiple groups just to get a second chance at exposing your art. I feel bad for people, DeviantArt now seems like a sink hole for talent unless you've been here for a long time consistently posting. Would like to hear others feedback please!
